MySpace is a portal for millions of people all over the Internet to gather and interact with one another over a common platform. It is one of the most trafficked sites across the Internet, with traffic second only to popular search engines like Google, Yahoo! and YouTube.
If you want to connect with the majority of people out there, whether to build your network, expand your contact list or to become popular among the community, you will need to stand out from the crowd.
A typical MySpace profile is nothing to shout about. It is very plain and people can't tell the difference between you and 11,534 other people out there (it is even more difficult when you share a common name with others).
In order to stand out from the crowd (or at least, give a lasting first impression), you must deploy the use of outstanding graphics for your profile page.
These graphics can range from backgrounds, all the way to stylish comments on other people's page. These graphics can be static or animated GIF files as well.
You can use your graphics to reflect your true personality in real life or use it to spice up the layouts. All you need to do is study the easiest form of HTML and 'cut and paste' these graphics into your 'code'.
You can look around or tinker with various graphics. You can even pay a professional graphics designer to create one for you. The most important thing of all is to look different compared to others. Otherwise, you profile page will be lost just like a needle in a haystack.
